The Templeton Religion Trust is currently calling for proposals for studies that will contribute to its Art Seeking Understanding program initiative. This program will be engaging with the theory of aesthetic cognitivism, which proposes that the arts provide a distinctive way of knowing. In order to test this notion, the Trust is looking for proposals “to conceive and design empirical and statistical studies of the cognitive significance of the arts with respect to spiritual realities and the discovery of new spiritual information.”
The online application must be completed by 28 October 2019.
