Call for Papers: ‘Arts + Spirituality’, September 28-29, 2017
The 2017 Verge Conference at the School of the Arts, Media + Culture Trinity, Western University Langley, British Columbia, Canada. The arts have been closely associated with spirituality and religious practice throughout human history and across cultures. For thousands of years artists and philosophers alike have contributed much to our understanding of this connection. This academic conference seeks to move the conversation forward.
Keynote speaker is Cam Anderson, Executive Director of CIVA | Christians in the Visual Arts, and author of The Faithful Artist: A Vision for Evangelicalism and the Arts (IVP Academic, 2016).
