Serafina Paladino

Serafina Paladino is a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews where she received a master’s degree in comparative literature. Her dissertation examined how a seminal work of literature, the 'Divine Comedy', can be used as a foundation for video games that strive to take their players on a journey through the afterlife in the same vein as Dante’s pilgrim. Serafina is fascinated by the medium of games and its ability to translate text onto a ludic stage that incorporates both visual and haptic stimuli. She hopes to conduct more research on digital mediums alongside their ties to spirituality in the future.
