Filip Scherf graduated from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He is finishing the MLitt in Bible and the Contemporary World at St. Andrews University’s School of Divinity, focusing on theology, imagination, and political history. Filip has worked as a freelance writer in the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Russia, and the Czech Republic. For his research, Columbia University awarded Filip the Dasturdaza Dr. Jal Pavry Memorial Award for International Peace and Understanding. Filip is also a Harriman Junior Fellow, a member of the International Fellows Program, and a recipient of the Robert Legvold Fellowship.
