Alicia was an Assistant Editor for Transpositions in 2021. She grew up in New England and studied English at Grove City College. She works as a technical writer while studying for an MLitt in Theology in the Arts at the University of St. Andrews. Her academic interests include divine encounters in the works of C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, George MacDonald, and Madeleine L’Engle and veil imagery as used to describe the border between the physical and spiritual worlds. Through her blog, aliciapollard.com, she explores 'yearning' (transcendent longing) as a medium of worship and witness through essays, short stories, poetry, and creative collaborations with other artists.
