DUBLIN—Arts & Spirituality Ireland (ASI) will present a one day conference, The Artist as Seer: Dreamer of Dreams on Saturday 18 October 2014 at the Chester Beatty Library from 10am to 2:30pm, including lunch at the Silk Road Cafe.
Conference speakers include:
- Maria Simonds-Gooding, member of Aosdána and the Royal Hibernian Academy, which presents a retrospective of her work from 5 Sept 26 Oct. She will also exhibit at The Taylor Galleries, 16 Oct – 8 Nov.
- Arthur Duff, architect and designer at Duff-Tisdall and President, Friends of the National Collections of Ireland (FNCI)
- Michael Conway, Professor of Faith and Culture at St. Patrick’s College Maynooth and Director of the Irish Centre for Faith and Culture
- Una Agnew, Associate Professor Emerita at Milltown Institute, Dublin and author of The Mystical Imagination of Patrick Kavanagh: A Buttonhole in Heaven
