Clinton is an MLitt student at the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts in St Andrews, under the supervision of George Corbett. He is researching the theological meaning of long narrative poetic forms, the relationship between secularism and the marginalization of these forms, and the ways in which these issues surface in the poetry and poetics of C.
